  1. Soak walnuts for an hour to soften them. Rinse and discard the water. Rinsing the walnuts removes the enzyme inhibitors and will make your final result taste better.
  2. Put everything except the tamari sauce in a food processor and blend until it becomes a smooth, cream-cheese-like consistency.
  3. Add the tamari sauce near the end and process again. This avoids it splashing too much if the walnuts are not a smooth paste.
  4. Serve this walnut paté on cucumber rounds. The flavour of the cucumber and the paté go together in a heavenly way!
