Walnut Paté
Ingredients
- 11/2 cups soaked walnuts
- 2 tbspns tamari soy sauce
- 1/3 cup white onion
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 celery stalk
- pinch Himalayan salt

Instructions
- Soak walnuts for an hour to soften them. Rinse and discard the water. Rinsing the walnuts removes the enzyme inhibitors and will make your final result taste better.
- Put everything except the tamari sauce in a food processor and blend until it becomes a smooth, cream-cheese-like consistency.
- Add the tamari sauce near the end and process again. This avoids it splashing too much if the walnuts are not a smooth paste.
- Serve this walnut paté on cucumber rounds. The flavour of the cucumber and the paté go together in a heavenly way!
